OUR INSTRUCTORS

Our team of yogi’s come from near and far and have a wealth of knowledge from a range of different lineages of yoga. They are seriously passionate about what they do and can’t wait to share the practice with you.

CHLOE MEZ

IN 2014 Chloe went on an expedition through South and Central America which lead her to yoga. She left her career, community and relationship behind in Melbourne on a quest to find her true calling. After 6 months of back packing she applied for a 200HR YTTC Intensive with School Yoga Institute in Mexico. This opened a portal to self discovery. Feeling inspired she returned to Melbourne to share these findings; teaching and educating others how to find inner guidance and peace too.

Chloe’s classes incorporate all her knowledge and experience through training’s and traveling. Her training’s include Vinyasa, Hatha, Acro Yoga, breathing techniques, mediation and just recently Yin Therapy with Paul Grilley’s instructors, Markus and Karin.

Expect a balance of strong and gentle, challenging yet soft Vinyasa flows with a focus on breath and how your practice is relevant to every day life situations. Chloe’s mission is to gift her students with resources to heal themselves beyond the mat.

BOBBY HANCOCK

Originally hailing from Perth, Bobby spent the first 10 years of his working life in building and construction. In order to deal with the physical exhaustion and emotional anxiety that came from feeling stuck in an unfulfilling career, he turned to yoga as a way to restore balance to his body and mind.

After developing a strong, disciplined, and consistent practice he quit his job, moved to Melbourne, and completed his 200-hour teacher training with Power Living Australia under the guidance of Chris Wilson and Cassie Lee. He has completed an additional 75Hr advanced teaching and leadership skills mentorship with Duncan Peak and Adam Whiting, and 30Hr yin yoga training with Hugh Lee.

Bobby brings a warm, grounding energy to his classes and is passionate about encouraging students to dive into the self-transformation that yoga provides. He accompanies his flows with upbeat and energetic playlists, and is humbled to share his love of yoga with you all.

KAT HARVEY- BARAKAT

Kat started dancing from the age of 3 and competed nationally and internationally for many years. At 17, a heartbreaking injury forced her dance career to end. A few years later, after working as a Personal Trainer and also in the Events/Marketing industry, Kat found yoga. She began to realise that the reason behind 14 years of dance training and those hours working in a gym learning how the body works, was to prepare her body for yoga asana. It was her mind that took a little longer to immerse itself.

Kat’s teaching style is fun, strong and dynamic with focus on the breath, self love and compassion. Kat aims to stimulate the energetic body as much as the physical body to bring her students to one-ness.

Hailey Tzounos

Hailey started her yoga journey like so many, seeing it as just another form of physical exercise. She quickly noticed that there was something more than contorting the body in a hot room, there was stillness and calm in her mind and body which lead her to feel more at ease in day to day life, less stressed. She wanted to know more, as well as share this transformational practice & so she went on to do her teacher training with Power Living in 2014. Since then she has done further training with Cassie Lee & Duncan Peak as well as completed Yin training with Hugh Lee.
As a yoga teacher Hailey aims to hold a space for students to practice diving deeper into the essence of who they really are. Breath by breath she guides students to move, open, release, strengthen & balance in a fun & safe environment.

Hailey brings a sense of humour and honesty to her classes in a safe multi-level sequence suitable for any aspiring yogi. She asks students to just show up & allow their practice to meet them and watch the magic happen.

Rosie Lucey

With a background in communications and education, Rosie took time out to travel the world to explore her interest in health and wellness; specifically yoga.

As part of this journey she completed her 200HR Ashtanga/ Vinyasa teacher training at the Association for Yoga and Meditation in Rishikesh, India. Not only did this spark a further love for the practise, but it opened her up to a new intrigue, being Yin yoga.

Rosie completed her 50 hour Yin training with Hugh Lee which has inspired her to continue to do what she is truly passionate about; whole body and mind healing.

Her classes are gentle and grounding and aim to provide students with a space that allows them to be calm, open and at peace.
